I decided to go with “I’m Nuts About You” as a theme for Mac’s Valentine’s Day care package. Obviously, I have a borderline unhealthy obsession with squirrels. I wrapped the nuts and the cookie bars in Saran wrap, put them in Ziploc bags and then in plastic containers. The Mio and water enhancers also go in a Ziploc bag in case they explode under pressure.
What’s inside:
Candied walnuts (in the blue container)
Walnut and white chocolate chip bars (in the other blue container)
Samoas and Do-Si-Dos
Mio (I bought some before and forgot to mail it)
A heart attack (little paper hearts in an envelope)
Valentine’s Day candy
And my piece de resistance, a squirrel Valentine.
Oh yes, the one squirrel gave the other squirrel a box of acorn chocolates. |
I also went a little cat-mom crazy and bought Mac a Valentine from Purrburger.

That is really cute! I also put nuts in my fiance’s packing this time – jalapeno cheddar pecans (he loves anything that melts his tongue off).
