Let’s pretend that I forgot to photograph the care package for the post I scheduled yesterday before I mailed it. I had every intention of a Friday recap post in the morning then my care package in the afternoon. I was too depressed after I got back from the Tech game Thursday night / Friday morning to care and fell asleep watching a movie.
When I was in Colorado, I picked up a few things for Mac. I want him to be excited to move there and to show him all of the cool things Colorado offers. I wish we would’ve gone out and explored more in North Carolina and Georgia, and I’m determined that we will see all the cool things in our future homes (wherever those are). The second full day I was in town, the weather was really bad, so I headed over to one of the malls. A quick trip to the bookstore travel section found two guide books: one for the state and one for the Springs. I picked up the moose at the Fort Carson PX, and the chocolates came from the Rocky Mountain Fudge Company shop in the mall (and really, how perfect is this “I Love You” box?). Moose took up about half of the box, so I threw in some granola bars to fill up the extra space.

I do love chocolates from the Rocky Mountain Fudge Factory. They were my grandma’s favourites! x
