Crock Pot buffalo chicken sandwiches
Mac loves buffalo chicken. Loves it. When we go out to eat, he will order whatever buffalo chicken item it on the menu. I was looking for an easy and creative ways to make buffalo chicken, so I came up with this recipe for Crock Pot buffalo chicken sandwiches. The filling is pretty easy because you dump all of the ingredients in a Crock Pot then shred them once they’re cooked. They’re a great way to prep dinner quickly before heading off to work. And they’re a go-to game day recipe.
After a few reader suggestions, I started adding Ranch dressing after I shred the cooked chicken. If you want to add more Ranch flavor, feel free to add more Ranch dressing mix. If you’re using the dry mix, add a teaspoon or so then taste it. I also found a ranch-buffalo wing sauce that you could use instead of regular hot sauce. This is significantly cheaper at your local grocery store, so buy it there. I personally like the ranch-buffalo sauce because it has a bit more flavor.
Try some of my other go-to game day snacks: THE loaded baked potato dip | southwestern egg rolls | spinach-artichoke dip | funeral sandwiches | cheesy chicken bacon ranch dip
You can also serve my Crock Pot buffalo chicken sandwiches several ways. They work well as full-size sandwiches with burger buns, sliders on smaller buns (like King’s Hawaiian rolls), or even as a dip with crackers and veggies on the side. Mac would probably recommend that I find a way to add more cheese. You could top this with a slice or two of sharp cheddar or even stir in some shredded cheese.
