Oops, we did it again. It all started Friday afternoon. We were out running errands, and I wanted to stop at Sports Authority and get my Super Bowl shirts. On our way out of the parking lot, we drove past PetSmart and saw a van full of cats outside. I made the executive decision to stop, so we went inside and looked. We found several adorable kittehs and decided to… View Post »
Five for Friday
I haven’t posted a Friday update in ages. Mac has a four-day, so we’re going to head up to Woodland Park. We haven’t been since the summer. I still haven’t purchased a Super Bowl t-shirt. #badbroncosfan #noneofthesportsstoresarenearwork Valentine’s Day is the holiday that we’ve spent the most of together (because it coincides with President’s Day weekend). The down-side of snow days
We had an unplanned four-day weekend last week thanks to a snowstorm that dumped over a foot on the greater Colorado Springs area (which the Army was kind enough to leave my husband out in the field for). We went to a friend’s (lovely, brand new) home and had a good time watching the game (and by that, I mean I spent most of the game with knots in my stomach and excessively sweaty palms). I’m planning to stop by Sports… View Post »
Golden
This little Internet slice of mine is four today! Can blogs have golden birthdays? Would it be weird to make that a thing? As always, a big thank you to all of y’all who stop by and read the random thoughts that I have. The past four years have been fun and quite the adventure. It’s been a blast sharing my life and getting to know those of you who… View Post »
My snow day purge
As I mentioned yesterday, we had a snow day. I am not one of those “Let’s go do something fun because campus is closed” kind of people, and I tend to stay at home when the weather is bad (I have had several bad-weather driving experiences and avoid it when possible). I also develop the attention snap of a gnat when I’m stuck at home, so I rotate through things… View Post »
