The down-side of snow days
We had an unplanned four-day weekend last week thanks to a snowstorm that dumped over a foot on the greater Colorado Springs area (which the Army was kind enough to leave my husband out in the field for). While snow days are fun as a kid, they aren’t always as fun as an adult.
- You tend to be stuck in the house beyond shoveling the driveway and sledding.
- You eat all of the snacks and then don’t feel like cooking when only ingredients are left.
- You get behind with work.
- You have no reason to not have a spotless, perfectly organized house.
- You have to day drink responsibly.
