As I mentioned yesterday, we had a snow day. I am not one of those “Let’s go do something fun because campus is closed” kind of people, and I tend to stay at home when the weather is bad (I have had several bad-weather driving experiences and avoid it when possible). I also develop the attention snap of a gnat when I’m stuck at home, so I rotate through things that I need to do throughout the day. I decided to tackle my office / craft room. This room is a complete and total disaster. It’s a catch-all for everything that doesn’t have a home: bills, papers, craft supplies. Mac has decided that he wants to replace the storage unit we have (and really don’t use) with more bookshelves. In order to do this, we need to be able to get to said unit to take it out. I also rearranged the basement.
Three bags of trash / shredding
Three bags of donated clothes and small items
One box of kitchen items to donate
Total: 53 items on my #simplify365 tally

I would have done the same thing, I am all about hunkering down when weather is bad.

I need to purge, big time.

Look at you go! Such a productive snow day. I probably would have just watched Netflix, haha. You are a better person than me. That’s awesome, though, and I’ll have to dedicate some time to trying this soon!

That’s a good way to spend a snow day! I have lots of purging that needs to happen around here too.

Way to go! We had a lazy day this weekend too, and I got rid of more clothes!

Yay!! Snow days are the best for getting things done at home š
