If only we could get an extra hour of sleep of night. Sigh. 1. What is currently on your wish list?Nothing at the moment. I’m not a big technology person. But I am in the market for a new phone. 2. Share a new iPhone, droid, iPad app that you have recently discovered that we all need.I have an iPhone, but I don’t have any new “must get” apps…. View Post »
I put a fire out at the ball
Last night, Mac and I attended the dining out for his career course. Basically, it was a formal dinner (but less formal than a ball) for the class. We had a social hour then moved to the ballroom for the program and dinner. As we were being deafened by the Fort Gordon jazz group (they weren’t that bad, but the speakers were wayyyy too loud), we all started to smell… View Post »
Happy Halloween!
It’s the spookiest night of the year! We’re staying in tonight because Mac has his final weigh-in of the career course tomorrow. And random question: do kids in apartment complexes trick-or-treat? Mac loves jalapeño peppers. I do not. I love black olives. Mac hates them. We… View Post »
Sunday Social: Halloween

If you could go back to your childhood and dress up as something, what would it be?I would clearly have switched my Snow White outfit out for Belle’s everyday dress. 3. What was your favorite Halloween costume as an adult?Sadly, I haven’t dressed… View Post »
Halloween for wimps
Halloween is the scariest holiday of the year. People love scary costumes, scary movies, and paying money to get scared at haunted houses. So how do major scaredy-cats handle Halloween? I have to admit that I am the biggest wuss alive. While I’m not scared of anything, I scare easily. Loud noises? I flinch. Opening a can of Pillsbury biscuit dough requires me to muster my inner strength. Random people… View Post »
