We hosted Leslie’s bridal shower on Sunday at our parents’ house. Because she and Adam love to cook, we went with a cooking theme. For the record, I have no photos of Leslie (or any of us). Blogger fail. We tweaked the menu a little bit and wound up with turkey or ham with cheese wraps, chicken salad on croissants, pimento cheese spread with crackers, tortellini pasta salad,… View Post »
Two
Two years. It’s hard to believe that our wedding was two whole years ago. Some days, 2012 feels like last month. But it’s days like today that really make me wonder how celebrities are only married a few months. I guess spending any anniversary apart is another check in the Army life bucket list, but it’s worth it in the end. Looking back on… View Post »

Oops, I did it again
Y’all, I did something crazy yesterday. It was crazy the first time, and it was crazy yesterday. I done registered for another half-marathon. I blame peer pressure. Ashley was already planning to run it, and why not go to Vegas for the weekend? We’re getting a group of gal pals together for the trip (sans our other bestie who decided to move to Australia on us). Training starts the last… View Post »
