We hosted Leslie’s bridal shower on Sunday at our parents’ house. Because she and Adam love to cook, we went with a cooking theme. For the record, I have no photos of Leslie (or any of us).
Blogger fail.
We tweaked the menu a little bit and wound up with turkey or ham with cheese wraps, chicken salad on croissants, pimento cheese spread with crackers, tortellini pasta salad, fruit salad with waffle cones, cupcakes, lemon bars, and cookies. We also had moscato punch, tea, and water.
We played three games: 1950s housewife, guess the spice, and guess the gadget. After that, Leslie opened presents. We wrapped up with favor making. Each guest got make their own bottle of infused olive oil. Christina (Leslie’s future sister-in-law) found these great bottles, Leslie got olive oil, and they prepped thyme, rosemary, garlic, and sun-dried tomatoes. I thought the favors were a great, unique idea, and most of the guests also enjoyed them.
