Subtitled, “I suck at selfies.” It took me at least five tries on my phone before I gave up and grabbed my real camera. The double edged sword of wearing the same dress to multiple military functions is the harsh reality of how much weight you’ve gained. Full disclosure: I’m not wearing a body shaper in picture 3, but I am in pictures 1 and 2. Also, #nomakeup #natural.
I hit the 30 pound weight loss mark yesterday. What. I still don’t see it too much. But I feel it. My body is definitely less lumpy;I’m down one full pant size and can fit into pants that are two sizes smaller. I still have a ways to go. I would like to drop another 20 pounds (!!!!) before Leslie’s wedding in July. I’ll be blogging about my diet plans on Monday. My ultimate goal is to lose 30 more pounds (including the 20 by July), so I can get back to the weight I was when Mac and I met.
It’s definitely important to remember where you started in order to keep you going where you want to be.
