You will need: your box, the completed customs form, your beloved’s address, and packing tape.
Personally, I’ve found that two strips of tape per box seam works best. Now we’re ready to head to the Post Office. Once you get to the Post Office, you will need to stand in the main line. While this is a priority package that has a flat shipping rate, the nifty little postage machine won’t process customs forms. At the counter, the postal clerk will ask you the standard questions about perishable items. Obviously, if you pack food, the box will be marked perishable. The clerk will verify that the customs form was filled out correctly then give you a copy with your receipt. And you’re done!
