Since we’ve moved, I decided to share some thoughts having lived at Fort Bragg for the past three years. PROS:– Most populated Army base = lots of resources (two commissaries and exchanges)– Satellite medical offices (don’t have to go to Womack on post for routine medical appointments)– Wide selection and assortment of activities for spouses and kids (if you have them)– Two hours from everywhere (but the OBX and the mountains). Gmail tabs
No apartment post today. I’m doing laundry and haven’t cleaned the two remaining rooms enough to post them on the Interwebs. But enjoy a hopefully helpful post about Gmail! Y’all might have noticed that Gmail launched a new format in the past few weeks. They now sort emails in three tabs at the top of your screen: inbox, social, and promotion. The main living area Our apartment has one central room. We decided to arrange the furniture to create two separate spaces. The dining room is right inside the front door while the family room is at the… View Post »
Walnut white chocolate chip cookie bars
I was in a baking mood and whipped up a pan of walnut white chocolate chip cookie bars. This is Betty Crocker’s recipe for chocolate chip cookies. I love making them as cookie bars instead of regular cookies because I don’t have to go through the effort of chilling the dough or shaping the cookies. I also swapped out semisweet chips for white chocolate chips and then added walnuts. You… View Post »
