Wherever we move next, I fully intend to reenter the professional world. Sorry, Ann Taylor, we’ll be breaking up. But not until I make the most of my 50% off discount. Given that AT is known for working women’s clothes, I’m building a wardrobe to have at my disposal. I started with two new suits: a khaki pantsuit and a navy skirt suit. These two are the same cotton fabric. I… View Post »
The Lean Cuisines were worth it
Back in March, we finally ordered our bridesmaid dresses. I went to Nordstrom and tried this Donna Morgan dress (on the left) on in a size 16. The color wound up not being what Leslie wanted, so we ordered this dress from Ann Taylor (on the right). I boldly ordered a size 12 hoping it would fit by wedding time. My mom’s family lives in the Pittsburgh area. My dad’s family is more spread out, but the majority of them live near Columbus. 2. Tell us about your husband, fiancé, boyfriend, significant other. I… View Post »
Censored: not on my blog
Every blog is an outlet for someone to voice their opinions and thoughts about anything and everything. Personally, I have a few topics I don’t blog about. Religion: I’m a Christian. I respect… View Post »
High Five for Friday: the home stretch
It’s crazy how we’re already halfway through our Fridays in July. 1. Leslie’s wedding is in two weeks! We still have to plan her bachelorette party. Ooops. Here’s hoping we can do it right before the wedding. 2. My sorority little is up in the DMV taking some classes at Johns Hopkins. We went out to dinner last night. It was wonderful catching up with her. 3. We went to… View Post »
