High Five for Friday: the home stretch

It’s crazy how we’re already halfway through our Fridays in July.

1. Leslie’s wedding is in two weeks! We still have to plan her bachelorette party. Ooops. Here’s hoping we can do it right before the wedding.

2. My sorority little is up in the DMV taking some classes at Johns Hopkins. We went out to dinner last night. It was wonderful catching up with her.

3. We went to On the Border, so tortilla chips and salsa obviously happened. I then managed to break a chip into the shape of Virginia. I am oddly proud of this.

4. We are officially in month 7 of this deployment.

5. My shoes for Leslie’s wedding arrived! Nordstrom had a sale online, so I ordered a pair of platinum Jack Rogers Navajos. Now to break them in before the big day.
