Remember this drinking game in college? When you tried to shame or out your friends for more-than-questionable decisions? I decided to look at things I haven’t done by the age of 25.
1. Buy a car. My daddy purchased my car back in 2002 and gave it to me when he bought a new Jeep in 2008. My parents titled it over to me after I finished college. 235,000 miles later, we’re still trucking.
2. Been through a break-up. Mac is the only person I’ve ever dated. Clearly, we’re still together.
3. Own a home. Lots of my friends are diving into the land of home ownership. We aren’t there yet. And who knows when that may be?
4. Live in a house longer than five years. Yes, technically my parents have lived in their house for 12 years. I lived there full time from 2001 to 2006 then moved to college.
5. Do anything really cool or crazy like skydiving.
What have y’all done or not done by a milestone birthday?
I’ve never purchased a car either. My parents bought me one, but I didn’t have a lot of say in the process. I’m nervous to have to do it.

I haven’t bought a car either mine was given to me and as a result I drive a gold old man Impala with dents and dings from my 80-something yr old uncle, but it runs right?!
I haven’t bought my own car either! I’m still driving the car my parents bought me in high school, and even more impressive is that it only hit 100,000 miles this past week. So it should hopefully last for a while longer.
