I’m in one of those ruts where I haven’t been sleeping well. One night, I can’t fall asleep but wake up at my normal time which spirals into the better part of a week spent like a zombie. The downside of being tired is that you fall asleep easily when you don’t want to sleep which results in more staying up late because you can’t fall asleep. You follow? I’ve been spending late nights watching old movies like “The Longest Day” and “El Dorado” on RetroPlex.
How do y’all deal with insomnia?

So, this used to happen to me… and then I discovered essential oils and specifically Cedarwood… I can’t even tell you how much better I’m sleeping. Adding you to my FB info group so you can learn more!!! 🙂

I don’t understand this at all. I have the opposite problem with life. I can’t nap to save my life so if I don’t sleep well at night I just have to live through a sleepy day.

The napping isn’t always a good thing. Sometimes, I wake up feeling like I haven’t slept in weeks.

The thing with naps is that you should keep them short. If you do more than 30 mins to an hour, you get into a real sleep cycle. That means when you wake up you basically have to be up for about 16 hours before your body will be “ready” to sleep again. Power naps are where it is at!

Man, I haven’t had a nap in weeks. That whole “sleep when the baby sleeps” advice is great….if you have a maid. :/
