Things have been very tiring around these parts lately. Between the evil that is Daylight Savings Time and a spring allergy sucker punch, I’m dragging.
- Spring break is only 26 hours of work and one day of class away. Hallelujah.
- I was talking to another woman in my cohort about how much we have to do for class each week. I only work part time, and I’m struggling to keep up some weeks. Good thing our next class have even more assignments. #not.
- As much as I love Junior League, I am super excited to be done with all of my requirements this League year. It’s a huge relief to not have to go to anything (though I still will).
- I really need to revamp my meal prep strategy. The fridge is looking bare, and I have no idea what we’re going to eat for dinner this week.
- Mac’s unit seriously has feast-or-famine event planning. We went about a month without anything and then had two ceremonies on one day. But it did give us an excuse to go to the Brazilian steakhouse we kept forgetting to try.
- Bagel Bites and Purrburger are making strides in their relationship. They aren’t quite the BFF / snuggle buddies Mac envisioned when we adopted him, but they can now tolerate each other.
- Speaking of cats, Mac and I watched a documentary on mountain lions in Wyoming last night. One of the cats was named Frostbite.
- Colorado has been teasing us with spring-like weather this past week. Have no fear, it’s supposed to snow this weekend.
- I took a movie heroine quiz last week, and I got Rose Dewitt-Bukater. My Titanic loving heart was so happy.

We’ve had the same weather here in MD, we got a week of spring weather and now it’s cold and rainy ๐ but YAY for spring break ๐

I feel like our unit calendar is the same. Last month was nothing, this month there is WAY too much.

Yay for the kitty sibling progress and for Spring Break on the horizon. I’ve always been curious about Junior League and I didn’t realize there were requirements to take care of each year.

Spring break is always a mixed bag for me. On one hand I love it because I generally have less meetings so I can catch up on administrative stuff. But on the other hand, the days drag on so much without students being around. #longestweekever
