After seeing loads of fellow bloggers rave about their experiences with 21 Day Fix, I’m going to give it a shot. If you aren’t familiar, 21 Day Fix is a Beachbody program that focuses on portion control and clean eating. You have a designated number of calories per day and divide them up between different color-coded food groups (fruits, veggies, protein, grains, and healthy fats). Mac is going to do it with me, but we’re not going to be totally strict with it. When I got the starter kit, I went through it with him to see if he was interested in trying it with me. We’ve decided to follow breakfast and lunch then loosen up a bit with dinner (mainly because he really loves cheese).
I whipped up a meal planning chart to track my containers per meal and to remind myself what to eat when (I write the number of containers on there because I couldn’t get OneNote to cooperate). I’ve also done a fair amount of food prep because nothing demotivates me like having to cook. I’ll follow the 21 Day Fix workouts while Mac is going to work out on his own.
Have y’all done the 21 Day Fix? What are your tips for success?

I haven’t done it but I know a lot of people who have. They seem to have had a lot of success with it.

I know a lot of people who have done this, I’m not sure it’s something I would do though.

Never done it, we try to eat as clean as possible through the week with cheat meals on the weekend. My problem is my lack of exercise!

I just read the comment you left on my post… and I can’t stop laughing. Clearly my photographer (Mike) has the shortest patience ever with outfit pics and never tells me to smile and he’ll be like okay done. The struggle and RestingBitchFace is real.

I’ve heard good things about this program. I would love to try it someday!

I hope you’ll update us with how it goes and what you’re eating. I have so many sisters that do this, and one of them is a coach that is constantly trying to get me to join, but not sure if I want to bother.

Keep us updated with how you are getting on!
