The other night, I had my first GMM (membership meeting) for the new year with the Junior League of Northern Virginia. These forward-thinking gals include a copy of the League cookbook in your dues, so I picked up my copy. I’ve been in Junior League four years, and I’ve had the pleasure of serving in three Leagues. I’ll be transferring once again when we move and will be adding another cookbook to my collection. My mom also collects League cookbooks, and she has them for most of the places we lived when I was growing up. It’s just funny to me that I can trace the places I’ve lived through Junior League cookbooks.
