3. When did you get your first cell phone?
In 2003. I was in 10th grade. I’ve had the same phone number the entire time.
4. What is your favorite magazine to read?
Martha Stewart Living or Southern Living. And the Alpha Gamma Delta Quarterly, of course.
5. What is the one random object people would be surprised to find in your purse?
My purse is always a disaster. I generally have a single earring hanging around without a mate. Also, stacks of receipts for my business expenses.

That is impressive that you have had the same phone number all that time!

I COMPLETELY forgot about those Dear America books! Wow.. thanks for bringing up some long lost memories! I’ve also had the same phone number since I got my first cell phone, I don’t think I ever want to give it up!

I’m a good bit older than you so the Dear America books weren’t around until my kids were young. I have to confess…I liked them as an adult. They were a neat peek into different periods in history. I think I still have a couple.

I read all those Dear America books too! A few years ago my mom was planning on getting rid of my collection. And while I let her, I made sure to reread all my favorites first in an afternoon before she donated them.
