If you guessed the Peach State, you are correct! Shout out to Jen for going 2/2 on guessing our last moves.
We are heading back to Fort Gordon this summer. Mac is really excited for his new job, so I’ve come to terms with moving back to a state I’ve already lived in (this will be the third state I’ve lived in twice). Things are moving at a hectic pace around here, and we are getting our house ready to put on the market.
Are y’all moving this summer? Any tips for listing a house?

We’re moving to western New York this summer – so much to do before then!
I began packing up things we kept stored in closets, but didn’t use often and moving them to the garage so that the closets look larger. We also did a big purge of clothes and donated them to the Idaho Youth Ranch.
Take down any personal pictures or images in your decoration that could distract a buyer from seeing your home as theirs, but leave neutral decor. For example, we took down our personal photos and framed Alabama prints, but left up the canvases we have bought at Kirklands and our fun retro ads for Orangina.
Best of luck in listing your home and I hope a buyer falls in love with it quickly! We have an offer on our house that I’m praying goes through! (Its contingent on the buyer selling their home).

Congratulations! Hope you can revisit all of your favorite things about Georgia and make some special new memories. Moving is a lot of work (as you well know!) so I hope your house sells quickly and things go smoothly for you and the cats ๐

Yay! That’s exciting. My dad retired at Ft.Gordan and my husbands first duty station was Ft.Stewart so Georgia was a special place for me!

Yay for a move! At least you know the state some, which I am sure takes some of the anxiety away.
