High Five for Friday: deployment goals, part 2

Back to reality. Whomp, whomp. We’re on the downhill side of this deployment, and I’ve made some goals for the next five months.

1. Lose those last pounds. I have about 25 more to go. Thanks, mid-tour leave. I didn’t need all those calories.

2. Train for and run the Las Vegas half-marathon. Surely, I could’ve thought of a better reason to go to Vegas.

3. Catch up on laundry. There are literally three full laundry baskets right now.

4. Cut down on the crap. We’re moving at the end of this deployment, and I’m trying to lighten the load any way I can.

5. Keep my room clean. This sounds ridiculous, but moving from a 5 bedroom house to a 3 bedroom apartment to one bedroom has been difficult for organization. We rearranged the room to better use the space in here, and I’m hoping the new arrangement will be easier to clean.
