One of the biggest adjustments for me when I finished college was my living situation. I went from two years in a sorority house filled with my friends to living with my boyfriend and his brother. Gone were the days of eating two to three meals a day, going to socials and mixers, and hanging out at the bars with the same group of friends. My friend time basically disappeared because I didn’t have many friends in North Carolina.
Now that I’m living near my friends, I’m going to try to see them as much as possible. Mac and I don’t know where we’ll live next, but we’re planning to move again. So why not make hay while the sun shines? My sorority sisters and I are also working to keep a sorority vibe going. Since our chapter is closed, we’re trying to stay in touch and go to events as a group. At the moment, we’ve planned a monthly brunch meet up. Another group of my friends started a Facebook group to support each other’s weight loss adventures. We also hope to meet up a few times a month for encouragement and recipe swapping.
Do you make time to spend with your friends? What do you normally do?

I’m a bad bad friend. When we visit home, I have one sister that I’m with 24/7 and occasionally, we include some of the boys.. LOL Eventually, everyone usually ends up at my parent’s house in the pool.

Not living near friends makes it hard but thankfully I have made a pretty good group of friends in EP.
