A year ago tomorrow, Mac and I said our vows (again) and celebrated our marriage with our friends and family. I definitely have a different perspective on our wedding a year later than I did the week leading up to it. And I have to say that I think I would do some things differently now.
Flowers and centerpieces: After seeing them, I would use the dark red from my bouquet for all of the arrangements. The color contrasted better with the orange. I also would choose slightly taller, more narrow containers to give a more full appearance. I would throw in some votive candles around them.
Hair: I set my heart on this one hairstyle, and it took for-freaking-ever. Not surprising given how long my hair was. Seeing how far it put my schedule behind, I would pick a low, classic chignon.
Day-of schedule: I was really stressed out the day of the wedding because everyone kept asking me everything. I should’ve written up a timeline and passed it out to the bridal party to saved my sanity. It also would have helped smooth pictures along.
Reception music: Our DJ was very literal with our music choices, so we had some lulls. I would be more specific with some of the down time (like during dinner) and would let the bridal party pick what music they walked in to.
Looking back on your weddings, what would you change?

Beautiful pictures. I would change absolutely nothing about our wedding haha, it cost $278 and we had 13 people there. It was perfect for us.
