Shortly after our first anniversary, I managed to convince Virginia Tech that they should give me a diploma. Suckers. Or I’m the sucker because I’m still paying for it. So Mac made the 1000 mile journey back to Virginia. I moved out of my sorority house and continued my job search. I flew down to Oklahoma to help Mac move to Fort Bragg with his first official unit. One, you’re like a dream come true
We met on a Saturday night in March of 2009. We hung out for the first time on Wednesday, were dating by Friday, and went on our first date the following Monday. That morning, I woke up, did whatever I normally did on a non-football season Saturday (West End brunch?), went to an apartment I had been to many times before,… View Post »
It’s Friday, again?
Working retail really throws off my semblance of weekends. I’m off today and tomorrow but have to work Sunday. Here’s what I’m loving today. 1. I was actually ambitious enough to work out after work. I rewarded myself with a delicious dinner of berries and cottage cheese. 2. I have to run SEVEN miles tomorrow for my Nashville training. I am not loving this. 3. My sister found a second… View Post »
Thinking spring
This bipolar weather has me craving spring. I need sunshine. I need warm weather. I need to not have snow in the forecast every week. While I definitely will not be buying a new spring wardrobe, I’ve been window shopping for some pastels and bright prints. I’m also on a skirt kick all of a sudden. Here’s some of my closet inspiration. From Ann Taylor From C. Wonder. And $170…. View Post »
