Our trip to Alaska is booked! We did a lot of research for our visit to the Land of the Midnight Sun and picked out an itinerary that will hopefully make the most of our time there. Mac has two weeks for block leave, and we’re going for about a week. One of our must-see stops is Denali National Park. Given that Denali is in the middle of Alaska and close to nothing, we looked at tour packages to figure out how to get there. We decided to ride the Alaska Railroad from Anchorage up to the park. We’ll also be visiting Talkeetna, the town closest to the actual mountain (though it’s still around three hours away). We booked a day cruise down to the Kenai Fjords on a glacier and wildlife tour. I think we’re going to be really crazy and take advantage of the 16+ hours of daylight while we’re in Denali. Alaska is just so big and so full of things to explore that we would need a lot more than block leave to experience it, but I think our week is going to be a blast!

Sounds wonderful! We wished we could have visited Alaska when we lived out west, but we ran out of time. I’ll live vicariously through your trip pictures š
