My mom taught me to sew way back in middle school, and I’m trying to keep up and improve my skills. My first project here was a fleece blanket. I bought the fabric way back in 2013 from Joann’s. I accidentally sewed the right sides on the inside and managed to break a needle on the last stretch of sewing.
My next batch was to make curtains for the upstairs bedrooms. I bought tan linen in our master bedroom, a blue hydrangea pattern in the guest room, and an orange southwest / Aztec print for our office.
I think I’m going to make some t-shirt quilts to clean out my dresser.

I want to make all of our curtains too. It seems so much cheaper, and you can really pick out the fabric that you want.
