Y’all, I’m running a half marathon NEXT MONTH. Granted, it’s about six weeks away, but this is March. The race is in April. I’m staring to panic. How am I going to run that far? I don’t have an outfit picked out. I don’t have a killer motivational playlist. We haven’t even booked a hotel room. I feel like a woman who went into labor without packing her hospital bag.
Panic aside, I’m planning to keep on with my training runs. My only goal for this race is to finish. I have four whole hours, so I could probably power walk this bitch and still finish it.

You will be surprised how much your adrenaline will kick in on the day of your race. Just keep up with your training as best as you can, and you will be fine. If all else fails, you can walk with my pregnant behind since I am not allowed to run anymore. I am power walking this baby in 4 hours and just enjoying Nashville along the way!

You are going to do amazing, no reason to freak out.

You’ll do awesome! I always have pre-race crazy jitters, but in the end, you will finish and you will feel great!

I love that you’re concerned about having an outfit picked. Hahaha! You still have plenty of time to get it all together!

I ran Nashville last year and it was the worst race of my life… but it poured rain the entire time, so that’s understandable. Fingers crossed that you get a beautiful day! The course is nice and the RnR series is really well-organized. You’ll do great!
