So apparently the post I wrote yesterday was for next Monday. It’s hard to believe I finished college.
Today, we’re talking about our favorite blogging tools. I switched over to WordPress and have enjoyed the process since then. These are my favorite plug-ins.
1. Calendar. Kristyn over at Chits and Giggles mentioned this in a plug-in post of hers, so I checked it out. I love that I can see the big picture when scheduling blog posts and can move things around without having to go to each individual blog post.
2. Disqus. I don’t know about y’all, but I genuinely hate having to type in my name, email, and URL just to leave a comment. Not going to lie, there are times I won’t comment on a blog post if I have to type in all my info. Disqus allows you to sign in with a bunch of different accounts and saves you that time and effort.
3. Cloud Tag and Collapsing Archives. These just keep my home page neat, tidy, and on the short end. The cloud tag also showed me just how many posts I left as “uncategorized.” I went back and tried to better organize them (and perk: the related posts are more accurate).
What are you favorite blogging tools? Any plug-ins I need to try?

Thanks for this, I’ve been searching how to do the collapsed archiving but I didn’t know what it was called! Lifesaver!!!
