What happens in Vegas

Will be photographed then recapped on the blog. And posted on Instagram. We’re less three weekends away from our trip to Vegas, and I’m conveniently ignoring that I have to run a half-marathon while I’m there. But I’m looking forward to exploring Sin City.

Casinos. We’re staying somewhere on the Strip (the perks of your best friend’s parents going with you and booking the hotel), and our race begins and ends at casinos. Gambling is to Vegas as sand is to the desert (I’m getting deep with the metaphors).

Shows. Sadly, Celine Dion is taking a few months off from her show schedule because hubby Rene isn’t doing well. Get well soon, Rene. I need to see your wife perform. Like need. It’s no coincidence that Celine performed the theme songs for my two favorite movies (Titanic and Beauty and the Beast). Shania Twain is still touring, and I think that will be a great show.

The Fountain. Clearly, we’ll have to get some photos at the Bellagio fountain.

Buffets. We’re totally carb loading Saturday night at a casino buffet. Eat all of the food!
