These days, I find myself wandering to the home décor section of Pinterest more and more. Our guest room is London themed, and I just need to find a few items to bring my vision to life. First, we need a real bed. The basic frame without a head and footboard isn’t my thing. I love the hotel look of crisp white linens, pillows, and throw blankets.
To round out the bed area, proper nightstands and a luggage rack. The folks in my family are categorically close to blind, and nightstands are a must to keep our glasses handy.
Next, a dresser. I love the idea of converting a TV stand to a multi-use storage unit. The guest TV would go on top, while extra sheets, towels, and toiletries could be stored in one side of the dresser. The other side will be empty for storage.
We have several pieces of London art, and I’m very tempted to find this telephone booth bookcase. But I do wonder if it’ll be too much.
What are your guest room essentials?

Caaaa-ute! We don’t have a guestroom. But if we did, it would probably be similar.

I just revamped our guest room. The only thing missing is a headboard.I’m with you on that one, I don’t love a bed with just the frame..

Love all of the crisp white–that’s one of my favorites! An alarm clock, candles, and a small basket with toiletries are my favorite things to always include in a guest room. That and making sure there are outlets available close to the bed, or bringing in some extension cords if not.
