I lack self control

So Mac and I have set up my room here at his parents’ house. We put together our Ikea furniture, but I wasn’t entirely sold on the bedside lamps. One is really bright; one isn’t bright enough. We headed over to the mall to chip away at our Christmas shopping, and we wandered into Penney’s. The Penney’s at Fair Oaks Mall is huge and even has a full furniture department. Having espied several squirrel ornaments, I literally gasped aloud when I saw this creation.

Could it be? A squirrel lamp? I immediately knew I needed this in my life, and Mac resigned himself to having squirrel lamps. If you don’t already know, Alpha Gamma Delta’s mascot is the squirrel, and I’m slightly obsessed with everything squirrel. We decided to buy these on our way out since we parked in Penney’s. But chaos almost ensued when we came back. One of my lamps was missing!!!! Luckily, someone had looked at it and moved it. Crisis averted.

Anyone else lack control and make ridiculous impulse buys? How about buying certain items?
