Stop buying textbooks!

In college, I probably spent about $500-600 a semester on books my first two years of college. Thankfully, my major-specific classes didn’t need books or the books weren’t as expensive. But I really wish I had heard about Campus Book Rentals back then. This is a great company that allows you to rent your textbooks. Because, believe me, you will not use that organic chemistry book or that Ancient Greek workbook ever again. Yes, I did actually take Ancient Greek in college.

So if you’re going back to campus this week, be sure to check out Campus Book Rentals. Chances are they have exactly what you need, and you don’t have to shell out $200 for that new version on the textbook your professor insists you’ll need. Campus Book Rentals’ prices are 40-90% less than your bookstore. Talk about crazy savings. They also have flexible rental periods in case you need to keep a book for second semester. And did I mention free shipping both ways? You really can’t lose here. They also have a promotion going on right now: enter the code FallSale70 to save $8 off a purchase of $70 or more.

If you have any books that you no longer use (and didn’t sell back), Campus Book Rentals will rent them from you through their RentBack program. You send them your books, they rent them out, you make money. So save money and then make money.

Campus Book Rentals also donates a portion of their profits to Operation Smile, an organization that provides cleft lip surgeries to children in need. Their goal is provide enough money for 1000 life changing surgeries. They’re also setting aside $90,000 in scholarships for college students this year.

If I need any books for my classes starting next week, I’m definitely looking for them at Campus Book Rentals.
