So I like to window shop online a lot. I found the most fab.u.lous purple lace skirt at J. Crew’s factory site. Since it was on sale, I splurged and bought it.
But I am not a fashionable person. What do I wear with this?

I’ll probably pair the skirt with purple or nude pumps.
I’m thinking a gauzy cream top would work best, worn tucked in. Would you pair a subtle pattern like these dots with a lace bottom? Both of these are from Old Navy.
Please help!
I’d go with nude pumps, and I like the first option with the dots better! Then again, I’m not a button-down kind of person…
I vote nude shoes (or go crazy and pick a yellow or metallic shoe), and definitely go with the polka dots. The subtle patterns should work really well together.

Im agreeing with polka dots, although both would look nice. Love the idea of a crazy bright pair of flats with it. Of course I pretty much despise heels so take that as you will.
What a pretty skirt!
I’d say you can dress it for day by pairing it with a denim shirt or black and white striped top. Even a tee in a complementary color to purple – like green or orange, if you want to go bolder.
For evening, I think the ivory blouses are great pairings. Or black never fails!

i like the both look great! If you wanted to add a pop of color, yellows – specifically a neon yellow would look lovely with this skirt!
