Richmond reunion

Over the weekend, a bunch of my sisters (and one of our Sweethearts) and I got together for a reunion in Richmond. Most of us hadn’t seen each other since my wedding, so this shindig was far overdue. We stayed at the Berkley Hotel in the Shockoe Slip area of Richmond. After hanging out and getting ready, we walked a block or two over to dinner at Kobe, a hibachi grill. While the chef was great and the food was good, the rest of the service was terrible. Like it took almost 45 minutes for our drinks to arrive from the bar.

We then meandered down the street to a club called Society. We got there really early and were rewarded with a free round of shooters. Some of our other sisters met up with us, and we hung out for a bit. They wanted to go to another bar that had live music, and we were rather enjoying our large table in an empty bar. Then we got another free round of shooters. Whoot.

We stayed at Society for a while, had a great time, and the single gals were not minding the attention. Victoria saw some guys she went to high school with, and one is a genuine model. Seriously, an actual male model. We eventually wandered up to a bar called Taphouse which had a killer 90s music playlist.

With a weekend reunion, brunch was required. We hit up Can Can in the Carytown section of Richmond. Since we made a reservation for such a large party, they wound up putting us in a private dining room but with separate smaller tables. It was a great time to catch up with all of my friends.
