Spring Vox Box
I signed up for Influenster several months ago. Basically, you link up your social media accounts to earn points and badges which can qualify you for the Vox Box (a sample box) or other opportunities.
This month’s box had a variety of samples:
1. OSIS Gelastic: An $18 ultra strong gel that provides all day definition and control.
Nice subtle scent, very sticky on the hands, not for daily use (for me with thin, fine hair) but would be great for up-do styles.
2. NYC New York Color Applelicious Glossy Lip Balm: A $2.99 tinted lip balm containing shea butter, jojoba oil, vitamin E, and avocado oil for shine, color, and moisture.
Loved the apple scent, smooth application, lightweight, not sticky. The color was a bit darker than I would choose, but I don’t wear lip color ever. I’ll def use it because it was free.
3. Tastykake Kandy Bar Kakes in Smore: $4.49 for a box of light and fluffy chocolate enrobed cakes with a delicious crème filling in a unique candy bar shape.
Really, really sweet. Mine also melted in transit, so the it was difficult to eat. Wasn’t my favorite smore flavored treat. Not worth the cost or calories.
4. Secret Outlast Clear Gel Antiperspirant / Deodorant: 48 hour wetness and odor protection while drying with fewer white marks. $4.59 for a full size container (Vox Box has a travel size).
I’ve yet to find a deodorant that dries clear because I generally don’t wait for the gel to fully dry. This scent is nice and light, and I’m packing it for vacation.
5. Broadway Nails impress Press-On Manicure: Stick-on nails that offer a salon-perfect manicure in seconds for only $5.99 and last up to a week.
I do not wear hot pink nail polish or fake nails. These would be good if you have something come up last minute and don’t have time for a full mani. They work by peeling off a sticker then placing the base of the fake nail at the base of your cuticle.
