This is my confession

Mac was watching the latest season of “Breaking Bad” on Netflix over the weekend, and I had a realization about how dim-witted I tend to be. So here are some confessions.

I confess that I used to think money laundering involved washing counterfeit money like laundry. It made sense to me that bad guys would wash their fake money so it wouldn’t seem crisp and new.

I confess that I once believed that quitting cold turkey involved refrigerated poultry. Like quitting smoking cold turkey? I seriously thought that you replaced cigarettes by smoking slices of cold turkey meat. Laugh it up.

I confess that I miss a lot of really obvious jokes. If it’s not inappropriate or a pun, I probably won’t get it. Then I over-analyze why I didn’t understand it.

I confess that sometimes I don’t get references. “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” or “Saved By the Bell” are two shows that I have not watched, so I don’t get jokes or quotes from them.
