- Happy Blogiversary to me! 10 years ago today, I spontaneously started a blog I called Sorority Life to Army Wife. I dreamed of documenting our wedding planning process and blogging for Weddingbee. And I also dreamed of becoming rich and famous. While blogging didn’t bring me fame and fortune, it brought me something much more worthwhile: friendships and connections with all of you. I appreciate everyone who has stopped by, read a post, tried a recipe, and left a comment.
- January feels like it flew by, which I don’t mind. We enjoyed a few days off and relaxed at home. It was a nice start to another year, and we’re back to our regular routine. My third semester has kicked off, so I’m also back to the school grind.
- It’s hard to believe, but our time in El Paso is winding down. We’ll be moving for the 8th time in 12 years coming up this summer. We’re waiting on orders, so I’m starting to work on pre-move tasks. I have lots of purging and organizing planned for the next few months. Hopefully, I’ll be able to share where we’re moving next soon!
- And what Life Lately update is complete without new flavors? First up were the Ultimate Chocolate Oreos. These were delicious. They had three layers of chocolate creme, and I vote that Oreo add these to the regular rotation. Next up were the Black Forest Cake M&Ms, the new Valentine’s Day flavor. They were a chocolate and cherry filling, a flavor combo I love. Definitely worth grabbing a bag this month. Finally, I found these new Lays Layers. They taste like the love child of a potato chip and a Bugle. Nice and crunchy, but still quite light. I enjoyed them.
