Mexican hot chocolate brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 tab of Mexican hot chocolate
  • 1/2 cup of semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/3 cup of sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Melt the butter,the hot chocolate tab, and the chocolate chips in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  4. Stir in the sugar, salt, and vanilla extract.
  5. Add the eggs and mix to combine.
  6. Fold in the flour, cocoa powder, and cinnamon.
  7. Spread in a greased 9×9 pan. Bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Cool completely then serve.
