Maxi obsession

First off, I would like to wish my wonderful mother a very a happy birthday!

As usual, I am behind the times jumping onto a trendy bandwagon. When maxi dresses and skirts burst onto the scene, I wasn’t really buying them. Sometime last year, I finally bought a maxi skirt and discovered that they are the yoga pant of skirts. Not too long later, I found two great racer back maxi dresses (one on the Lilly final sale and one on major clearance at Target) and fell in love. Since then, I’ve been on a hunt to find more of them. I prefer maxi dresses with a waist where I can find them (I have hips which throws off the sizing), and I like solid maxis (because they’re easier to style).
