Way back in 2011, I subscribed to a bridal version of Groupon. Right before we went to New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl, they had a deal to buy $100 in Restaurant.com gift certificates for $10 each. I bought $1000 of gift certificates for just $100. My original plan was to use them for our trip (there were six of us) because our hotel and game tickets were so expensive. We wound up not using all of them, and Mac and I took several on our honeymoon. At my last count, we have around $600 left, and I’ve been scoping out restaurants in the Colorado Springs area to make a dent in our selection. We’re want to try out new places and to avoid eating at the same restaurants (especially chains) like we did in Fayetteville and Augusta.
Some restaurants on my must-try list are:
– Briarhurst Manor Estate
– Pikes Perk Coffee House
– Bourbon Brothers Southern Kitchen
– The Public House
– Tapateria
Do y’all have any restaurant recommendations for Colorado Springs?

• Edelweiss
• Margarita at Pine Creek
• PB & Jellies
• Jake & Telly’s
• Jack Quinn’s
• Phantom Canyon
• Salsa Brava
• Leon Gessi Pizza
• Drifter’s (it’s an In-n-Out copycat!)
• Heart of Jerusalem (NOT Taste of Jerusalem)
• Golden Bee
• Mirch Masala
• Bon Ton’s Cafe
• Rocco’s Italian
• Paris Crepe
• Cy’s Drive In
• Flatirons
• BJ’s Velvet Freez (best ice cream ever!)
• Rasta Pasta
• Fargo’s Pizza
• Bambino’s Italian (we had our wedding rehearsal dinner there b/c we liked it so much!)
• Pueblo Viejo
• Trinity Brewing
• Thai Basil
• Everest Nepal
• Gunther Toody’s
• Old Chicago (a chain, I think, but we’ve never lived anywhere else with one)
Okay, sorry for too many suggestions, haha. We LOVED all of the awesome options for food in Springs. We miss it a lot!

I love Restaurant.com! Here most of the places that participate require you to spend SO much money though that we’d have to buy two days worth of meals to redeem the coupons.
