Now that our fur baby has been blessing us for two whole months, here’s a peek in to her daily life.
3 am: wake up after a long day of napping. Mull over the general lack of kibble in my bowl. Meow.
3:40 am: Time for my morning run! Nothing like stretching the legs out while Mommy and Daddy are sleeping. Maybe I’ll find some of my toys and knock them around or tear them apart.
My precious. |
4:30 am: Daddy wakes up in ten minutes. Time to nap on his PT clothes.
4:45 am: Meow in protest when Daddy moves me in order to get to his PT clothes.
4:50 am: Run under Daddy’s feet while he’s trying to leave to make him feed me. Success.
7 am: Time for second breakfast. Need to wake up Mommy.
7:15 am: Meow disapprovingly when Mommy is not amused by my appeals for second breakfast. Can’t she see I’m starving? I’ve only gained 4 pounds since I moved here.
7:49 am: Starvation is imminent. I can see the bottom of my food bowl.
8:00 am: Morning nap on the bathroom rug, preferably while someone is in the bathroom.
12 pm: Harass Mommy for lunch when she gets back from the gym. Finally, she relents. Ooooh, wet food.
12:10 pm: Accompany Mommy to the bathroom and sit on the toilet lid while she showers. Stare unashamedly at her and meow for more food.
1 pm – 5 pm: Nap under the kitchen table. Or, recently, on the kitchen table. When awake, find Mommy and meow for more food. Meow louder when she doesn’t feed me.
Don’t mind me. I’m not napping on this cute couch cover. I’m actually sleeping on a fabric pattern that’s on top of the cover. |
5 – 6 pm: Daddy’s home! Meow to get him to feed me. He doesn’t. Maybe the humans are conspiring against me.
6 pm: Dinner time. I wish my humans understood how easily a cat can starve to death.
8 pm: Watch and wonder why the humans daily remove my poop. Be sure to run in the litter box to make a fresh deposit immediately afterwards. I need to mark my territory.
10 pm: Remind Mommy and Daddy that my food bowl isn’t full.
10:17 pm: Find a suitable scratching post to freshen up my mani-pedi, preferably something that sounds really neat when my claws rip through it. That nice arm chair and Mommy’s briefcase are nice choices.
11 pm: Settle in for the night on the bathroom rug or on the dresser by the window.

Hahaha!! I love this!! Sounds just like our dog when it comes to sleeping on the uniforms. Luckily, Caesar is just as lazy as I am, so he’d rather sleep than eat.. (:

So basically, the life of a cat is either super stressful or amazing. So cute!

Awww. So precious. I am always saying that I wish I had my dogs’ lives. They sleep, eat, play, and cuddle. Sounds pretty good to me!

Haha I love this!!! Fishy free feeds so we don’t have to fill his bowl but the rest sounds like him. 🙂

How adorable!!

Hahaha SO much begging for food. Get him on a schedule of feedings of 2-3 times a day and that’s it. Around the same time each day.
