I think it’s really important to continue to date even if you’re engaged or married to avoid falling into a routine. But how many of y’all ask your beloved where you want to go out for date night and get “I don’t care” as a response? I found this idea on Pinterest and decided to craft one of my own.The date book is a list of different restaurants you want to try and a list of date ideas (both for at home and out on the town) to avoid the dreaded decision of where to go. It’s also great for us living in a new town. We live really close to the Augusta Exchange, one of the major shopping centers, and we tend to stick around there.
To make it, just grab a notebook with blank sheets, a few markers, and a list of places you’ve wanted to try. I did some research online (search restaurants in Augusta) for some inspiration and included the address and price range. Urbanspoon.com is a great resource for information and reviews.
Beware: I do not have cute handwriting, and I can’t make different fonts.
I also included some date ideas.
What do y’all do to plan dates?

This is a cute idea!
Andrew and I are really cheap and we LOVE coupons. We bought a big coupon book together. So, for our date nights, we choose a restaurant out of the coupon book. That way we can still enjoy a nice date together while being on a budget. ๐

That is a great idea! My husband and I often can’t think of things to do, and end up staying home a lot… I may steal this idea too!

This is definitely a great idea! ๐ Kyle is pretty good about not doing the “I don’t care” but this is still something I might try.

I have seen this before and thought it was cute but never really had an interest o make it… but your suggestion of keeping things fun when engaged makes me REALLY want to! We have about a year left in the place we live, and it would be great to be able to hit all the places we’ve really wanted to! I may take this idea too! ๐

Love it!! The husband and I flip a coin if we can’t decide…I actually started that when he would tell me he doesn’t care lol. Turning it into a game helps!

I am on Pinterest all the time and this somehow slipped by me. This is a great idea. It is really easy to get in a rut and this helps spice up the date. Cool idea! I am a new follower thanks to the Blog Hop. I blog over at http://southernnewlywed22.blogspot.com/ Feel free to stop by and follow.
