We took a day trip to Wilmington on Friday. We successfully sold all but one of Mac’s Magic: The Gathering cards and made, how shall I say, a LOT of money. I was actually shocked at what they offered us. He was not.
We had lunch at Flaming Amy’s burrito barn. It’s like everything Chipotle should be. I feel weird about taking pics of food, so I didn’t. Mac had the Chipotle BBQ burrito, and I had the Big Jerk chicken burrito. Delicious but lava hot heartburn later in the evening.
Then off to Airlie Gardens, home to the North Carolina Azalea Festival and an almost 500 year old oak tree. If you spend a decent amount of time in the Deep South, you develop a passion for azaleas and crepe myrtles. And large fragrant gardens. And even salt water marshes.
We wound up at the USS North Carolina minutes too late to buy tickets, so we wandered around the grounds and down to the Cape Fear River.

Haha, I actually played Magic once. It was fun!
Pretty pictures! I laughed at the alligator sign. They’re dangerous? I had no idea. :p
