I do love a cheesy post title. Today Monday last month, my beloved was finally (I do mean finally) promoted to Captain! The Army has decided to extend times between promotions because they’re slowly reducing the number of active duty officers and soldiers. My camera had the nerve to die after this picture, so the second came from Mac’s commander’s phone. Whomp whomp.

After a quick ceremony in the rather toasty conference room, we had a reception of Chick-Fil-A and Jimmy John’s, and everyone went back to work.
Congrats to your hubby! My husband was promoted right before they extended the time between 1LT and CPT…he was relieved to say the least.
