As I mentioned, I have a few post wedding crafts.
My first was to convert our cake toppers to art. We purchase Lillian Rose cake toppers from AC Moore. I purchased them with either 55% off or 60% off coupons. Sadly, the “M” broke as our wedding planner was cleaning up. She began apologizing profusely and offered to buy us a new one. I told her that all was not lost, we have crazy glue. I managed to break the “C” into three pieces whilst removing the plastic peg that goes in the cake. Can you tell?

Assemble the Avengers! Umm, your supplies.
You will need: a shadowbox (large enough to prevent overlappage), colored scrapbooking paper, glue, your cake toppers, some scissors (or a paper cutter), and a tape measure.
1. Measure the inner box of the shadowbox. Ours is 8×10.
2. Trim your paper along the top and one side to just under your shadowbox size. This will keep the paper smooth and flat. I used my handy paper cutter. If you have a steady hand, you can use scissors.
3. Dab a drop of glue at each corner and place the paper.
4. Center your last name initial. Glue in place.
5. Line up the first name initials on either side of your last name. You can do a creative pattern, but I went old school. Glue in place.
6. Allow glue to dry. Admire your handiwork.
