All dressed up with nowhere to go

Sometime last year, I decided I needed a dark green formal gown. To be honest, I probably saw a gorgeous gown on Pinterest that I could never afford and have been on the hunt for a more reasonably priced once since. In my new hobby of window shopping, I came across one: emerald, elegant, and (saving the best for last) ON SALE. Boo yah. I still had some Macy’s gift cards left over from Christmas, so I treated myself for no other reason than those gift cards were burning a hole in my pocket. Mac’s unit has no formals or balls planned. I have nothing in my own organizations coming up. But sometimes, when your husband’s gone for almost two weeks, you just decide to buy yourself something pretty. I was thinking of pairing it with this clutch and these wedges. But is it too matchy-matchy?
