I’ve mentioned before that our guest room is London themed. Yesterday at Target, I went in to get cat food and came out with a canvas print of a map of London. It was the last one, so I figured I would grab it.
Now, I’m not so sure. I think the sepia doesn’t really match the bright prints we have from Ikea.

I found this print instead. It’s more white that the Ikea prints, but it seems to be closer design wise (at least to me).

So which would y’all pick? The sepia or the color? A or B? 1 or 2? Better or worse?
Mac and I are also engaged in a philosophical debate about guest room linens. I would like to nix the red sheets and bright quilt for a more hotel-like white or neutral set. He thinks white stains too easily and isn’t very homey. Just keep in mind that Purrburger has lost her guest room privileges for using my arm chair as a scratching post, so she won’t be on the bed spread.
What would y’all choose? Keep the quilt or go with the solid color scheme?

Definitely the second image!! I’m a terrible hostess. I’d love for our guest room to be all pretty and hotel like, but our guests just get our old bedding.. LOL

I love the 2nd image! I’m not a fan of white either and try to stay away from it.

I like the second image:) My “dream” guest room would be all hotel-like, but white doesn’t tend to stay clean around our place for very long. We have our old bedding in there now, but eventually I want to go with something brighter.

My guest room is London themed too! I will have to share pictures. I like the second one you found. I think it goes better. Pretty sure I have that white comforter in black. I like the white!!

I would go with the white bed and colourful prints 🙂

I love that map of London, and definitely white sheets. We have all white on our bed and all white towels. They really are not that bad to keep clean. I use a little stain remover before. I wash them, and add a little bleach. We have two dogs and they are all stain and dirt free!
