Because you only get so much free time when you go on a coordinated trip like ours, you wind up making every little bit count. This includes late night forays to explore and photograph the sites. We popped on the tube after a dinner with some students at King’s College for our program and headed over to Westminster. This post could be subtitled “why you should learn to use your camera before going to Europe” as it took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out how to adjust the settings for the night lights. We also were there immediately after the attacks on the Westminster bridge, so we stopped and paid our respects.
