I’m not a big “trendy” TV watcher. No Bachelor / Bachelorette or Dancing with the Stars on my DVR. Add to that the fact that most shows take a summer hiatus, and I’m constantly surfing through my 600+ channel line-up with nothing to watch. But I do have a few shows that I can’t miss this summer.
1. Finding Bigfoot: This is one of my favorite TV shows ever. I love Bigfoot.
2. The Astronaut Wives Club: I saw this book when it came out a few years ago and just never bought it. I found the show listed on my DVR and immediately recorded it (and bought the book, review coming soon!). Yes, it is different in tone from the book, but I really like it.
3. Scrubs: Whenever Mac leaves for long periods, I find a show on Netflix to watch or re-watch. I’ve been working my way through Scrubs. This show was brilliant.
What are you watching this summer?

I just started watching The Astronaut’s Wives Club last night. It’s pretty good!

I used to love Scrubs! Definitely need to go back to rewatch! I was watching Lost Girl on Netflix but just got into Friday Night Lights and already steamrolled through 2 1/2/ seasons! On cable I love Food Network Star and somehow got into Naked and Afraid- I just don’t know how they manage out there in the wilderness, or why they would want to!

I’m not a trendy tv watcher either, I typically don’t watch things until years after they originally air haha.

I keep hearing about The Astronaut Wives Club. I’m cheap so we don’t have DVR, but I’m going to have to look it up.

AWC becomes more different than the book the more episodes you get through too. I think the main themes are definitely there, but they do take some liberty with some of the story-lines. I am still really enjoying it!
